Chile Travel Advice
The Foreign Office has updated their travel advice for Chile. In recent weeks there has been a series of protests and demonstrations in the capital, Santiago, and other cities. The unrest was sparked by fare increases on the Santiago metro system.
Although curfews have been lifted, there has been some disruption to internal and regional flights and some of the border crossings into Argentina, Peru and Bolivia are currently closed at night. There are limited services on the metro and bus system in the capital.
Travellers are advised to stay vigilant, avoid demonstrations and to follow the instructions and advice of the local authorities.
Passenger safety is our highest priority. Revealed Travel are continuing to monitor events in Chile and are liaising with our ground agents and passengers in Latin America to ensure they remain safe.
